At the fundraising café, you can discuss your journalistic idea and address anything from editorial independence and ethical funding considerations to practicalities on how to reach out to potential donors, and how to integrate a fundraising routine in the day-to-day of your organisation. At the finance café, you can bring your ideas and translate them into budgets, explore different financial scenarios, draft budgets for grant applications, improve your reporting, learn about financial statements, variance analysis and cost allocation, or ask anything you’ve always wanted to know about journalism finance—but never dared to ask.
